| 1900 -1920 - 1903 - Buick incorporates and moves from Detroit to Flint
- 1904 - Buick produces a total of 37 Model B Touring Cars rated at 15 to 21 hp.
- 1907 - MODEL YEAR. The Model D- Buick's first 4-cylinder -debuts with a 3-speed, sliding gear transmission.
- 1908 - MODEL YEAR. Buick surpasses Ford and Cadillac as number one producer of vehicles at 8,820 units.
1921 - 1940 - 1923 - Buick builds its one-millionth vehicle just shy of its 20th birthday.
- 1925 - MODEL YEAR. Buick stops production of 4-cylinder engines and introduces the 6-cylinder Standard Six economy line.
- 1936 - MODEL YEAR. The new Buick Century - powered by inline 8-cylinder engine with 120 bhp - sees sales of 28,890 units.
- 1938 - Deemed "The World's First Concept Car," the sleek black two-passenger Y-Job convertible debuts.
1941 - 1960 - 1941 - MODEL YEAR. The first Buick Super is introduced with its 125 bhp straight 8-cylinder engine.
- 1942 - Wartime affects the entire U.S. as Buick builds over 2,500 M18 Halicat tank destroyers.
- 1949 - MODEL YEAR. Portholes make their debut on the fenders of all Buick vehicles, including the Roadmaster Convertible.
- 1950 - MODEL YEAR. The Riviera becomes a Super - and a full-size coupe. The Super Riviera Coupe hits the road with a 124 bhp inline (straight) eight cylinder engine.
- 1953 - MODEL YEAR. Buick's 50th anniversary car - the Roadmaster Skylark Convertible-debuts at a base price of $5,000
- 1959 - MODEL YEAR. The Electra 225- at 225 inches in length-debuts with three body styles and a 401 overhead valve V8 engine.
1961-1980 - 1961 - MODEL YEAR. Latin for "Invincible," the Invicta becomes the centerpiece of Buick's very first performance line.
- 1961 - MODEL YEAR. The Skylark nameplate returns mid-year with a total of 12,683 units produced.
- 1963 - MODEL YEAR. Bill Mitchell's masterpiece, the Riviera becomes it's own model. Som 40,000 units are produced.
- 1965 - MODEL YEAR. The Wildcat distinguishes itself from the LeSabre pack with its die-cast grille and bright fender vents.
- 1970 - MODEL YEAR. Buick drivers discover a world of options with the high-performance package for the Gran Sport - the GSX.
- 1971 - MODEL YEAR. The Riviera undergoes a total redesign complete with a boat-tail rear, sweeping side scoops, and 315 bhp.
- 1972 - MODEL YEAR. The Buick LeSabre, Buick's best-selling full-size car, produces some 183,322 units- including LeSabre Customs.
- 1978 - MODEL YEAR. Buick introduces a turbo-charged 3.8L V6- the Turbo Regal Sport Coupe.
1981 - Present - 1981 - MODEL YEAR. A 281-bhp V6 Regal sets the pace at Indy. It's the fifth Buick pace car fans in Indianapolis have met.
- 1982 - MODEL YEAR. Buick introduces its first rag-top since 1975 with the first-ever Riviera convertible.
- 1987 - MODEL YEAR. Built on the heavily optioned Regal Grand National, Car and Driver clocks the GNX 4.7 seconds in the 0 to 60.
- 1988 - MODEL YEAR. Buick introduces the Reatta two-passenger luxury vehicle at a price tag of $25,000
- 1991 - MODEL YEAR. The Park Avenue debuts with a 170 bhp V6 engine and electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission.
- 1992 - MODEL YEAR. The first Roadmaster since 1959 debuts with a 180-bhp 5.7L V8 engine and throttle-body fuel injection.
- 2002 - MODEL YEAR. Buick introduces its first truck-based vehicle since 1923: the Rendezvous crossover
- 2004 - MODEL YEAR. The Rainier SUV brings Buick its first V8 engine in eight years.
- 2005 - MODEL YEAR. Buick introduces the third vehicle in its SUV portfolio: the Terrazza.
- 2008 - MODEL YEAR. The Buick Enclave luxury crossover arrives in dealerships equipped with standards unmatched in its segment.
- 2008 - MODEL YEAR. With a nod to the 60s original, the future of modern luxury arrives in the form of the Invicta concept.
