Where is the U.S. Warranty contract honored?

At any reputable A.S.E. certified repair facility in the U.S. or Canada. A reputable repair facility is one which has the commitment to repair your vehicle properly in accordance with guidelines set up by U.S. Warranty to protect you, the customer. Whether in your local area or traveling, for a list of reputable facilities, just call (800) 432-4566.

How are claims paid, and what is the claim process?

U.S. Warranty will pay the repair facility direct by our company VISA or MasterCard, or through Direct Billing or by Wire Transfer if necessary.

  • When your vehicle breaks down and you need service:
  • Simply bring the vehicle to any licensed service facility.
  • Have the service manager call the 800 number on the bottom of your U.S. Warranty service contract for repair authorization.
  • After obtaining authorization and an authorization number, the service facility will repair your vehicle.
  • When the repairs are complete, the service facility will fax or mail the completed authorized repair order signed by the customer.
  • U.S. Warranty will then pay the service facility with the Company Credit Cards or by Direct Billing or Wire Transfer.
  • You pay only your deductible.

What if my dealership or mechanic won't accept U.S. Warranty's payment?

Once they find out that we pay retail (based upon Chilton's, Mitchells, or other industry pricing guides) for parts and labor, and pay immediately by company credit card, most dealerships and repair shops want the business we can send them. Our Customer Service Consultants will gladly contact facilities for you to explain our payment method.

How does the U.S. Warranty contract differ from others?

Our service contracts have no wear and tear exclusions. Simply stated, if a listed component breaks or wears out, it is covered, and you are protected as long as you have maintained your vehicle per the manufacturer's specifications. (See your owner's manual.) With U.S. Warranty, you're getting better coverage at a better price.

Does each component repaired require a deductible?

U.S. Warranty requires only one deductible per repair visit, no matter how many repairs were performed in that visit.

How often are there claims on vehicles?

National statistics show us that in the next twelve months, more than 1 in 3 vehicles will experience a mechanical failure that would be covered by U.S. Warranty.

What reassurance do I have that your company will be here in years to come to honor claims?

U.S. Warranty is the oldest licensed warranty company in Florida and one of the oldest in the United States. They have substantial reserves set aside to pay claims and are licensed and governed by the State of Florida Department of Insurance.

Why buy now if I have time left on my original factory warranty?

Buying today will allow you to avoid paying higher rates later due to price increases and required surcharges. You will be able to immediately take advantage of your plan's benefits: Repairs, 24-hour Toll-Free Emergency Roadside Assistance, and Car Rental. Also, we can easily include it in your monthly payments.

I've never had any problems with my car, why would I want an extended warranty?

Cars today have more accessories and electronics than ever before. Labor and parts prices rise every year. You are protecting yourself against both repairs and rising costs.

How can U.S. Warranty provide its contracts at such a low cost?

Because Sheehan Autoplex is participating in a substantial amount of the cost as a service to our customers.

Is the U.S. Warranty contract transferable?

Yes, if you sell your vehicle to an individual, the contract may be transferred to the new owner for a $40 fee. This enhances the value of your vehicle when selling to a private party.

What if I don't keep my vehicle for the term of my contract?

You can cancel and receive a refund figured by the pro-rate method (reflecting the greater of the days in force or the miles driven on the term of the plan selected and the date coverage begins), less a $30 administration fee, less claims.

When does this contract start?

Coverage will take effect immediately after the purchase and will expire according to the time and/or mileage of the plan selected, whichever occurs first. Expiration is measured from the contract purchase date and the odometer mileage at contract purchase date.
